Recipe: Halal Tiramisu (non-alcoholic Tiramisu)

Beat 2 eggs with 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.

Add 500g of Caroline Halal Mascarpone cheese.

Beat well.

In a separate bowl, beat 250ml Halal fresh whipped cream till fluffy.

Fold the beaten whipped cream into the cheese mixture and continue beating for a few seconds.

Mix 1 cup of hot water with 4 tsp Nescafe & 2 tsp. sugar

Using a rectangular dish or square dish, dip each sponge finger biscuit quickly (don't soak) and arrange to form a base filling the dish. Dip the side without sugar on it.

Place the side with sugar on it facing the base of the dish.

Fill up the base of the dish.

Pour the creamy mixture onto the dipped biscuits.

Spread the mixture well. Do not flatten...just spread well covering the base.

Chill for at least 4 hours

Sprinkle bitter coffee or cocoa powder on top of the tiramisu just prior to serving. You can also decorate it with strawberries or fruit of your choice.

All set to be enjoyed with a steaming cup of fresh coffee.

I love this recipe and tried it with great success; additional hint: in order to get the classic hint of almond flavour (normally from the Amaretto) I recommend to use almond-syrup instead of the sugar and beat it into the egg-mascarpone mass. but my friend put the alond syrup with the coffee to soak the bisquits and that was really nice too, so I just wanted to share this: try it either way, it's great & thanks again for the great recipe !

The nescafe is for dipping the biscuits.

I thought the step by step photo instructions are very clear...anyway, kindly beat the eggs together...don't need to do it separately;)

This was so useful! I tried it and it was delicious! Although, I didn't have mascarpone cream so I used cream cheese and heavy whipping cream and it still tasted brilliant! Also, the biscuits can be replaced by pieces of sponge cake.
