Secret Recipe is a growing Malaysian food chain in Thailand, especially in Bangkok. Many of us are not sure of its halal status of the outlets.
Recently I managed to contact the management to enquire regarding this crucial matter. Below are the responses I received that I would like to share with all of you:

We have a plan to apply the Halal certification, we have just received the certificate of GMP and HACCP.
We are waiting for the approval from Halal certification which may take a little bit of time. Anyway, our factory practice is complied with Halal since established.

With regards to your inquiry on the Halal certificate, we would like to informed you that we are now in the process of having the certificate for our central kitchen. The process will be complete in a few months.
However, our central kitchen has been working according to the Halal guideline since the opening. All the concerned supplies are from the Halal certified suppliers such as chicken from CPF.
