Deen Restaurant, which serves halal Thai food is located in the block just before reaching Silom Soi 15. If you take a cab from Chongnonsi BTS Station or Saladaeng BTS Station, tell the driver to send you to Silom Soi 'sip haa'. 'Sip haa' is 15 in Thai. The fare should be about THB40 only.
Masjid Mirassudeen is located across the road in a little alley of Silom Soi 20.

Saya Malaysian kerja dan tinggal di Hanoi, Vietnam. Selalunya saya pergi ke Bangkok during Chinese New Year atau di Vietnam kita panggil Tet Holiday. Last year 4 hari saya ke Bangkok, tahun ini saya akan ke sana lagi, dari 4 - 6 Februari 2011.
Saya tercari cari restoran Nasi Mandhi yang kawan saya kata nasinya sangat famous di Bangkok, tapi tak pasti restoran yang mana... Tak silap rasanya Petra lah. Anyway, I love you blog.. thank you once again ya.

Was in Bangkok recently and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, but ate food at a lovely restaurant beside Haroon Mosque. I recommend it highly.

ReplyDeleteAssalamualaikum LYNN,
ReplyDeletethank you very much for the information. Just now i tried to go to The Touch Cafe. When i asked the Tuktuk driver he said the fee is 500baht. So i cancel that and i decided to just eat bread. Suddenly with the will of Allah SWT the Deen Halal restaurant was just beside me. so grateful to be there, n i love the green curry chicken. btw, i stayed in furama hotel. the hotel is very near to the restaurant. tq again LYNN!!!
You can also go to Cili Padi Restaurant on Thanon Pan, the road next to the Hindu Temple. You can search for it in this blog, too. By the way, Touch Cafe is no longer in operation.
ReplyDeleteIs it near to the mariamman temple? Oh n i notice theres a small mosque near the thai cooking school. Had chance to peek around but i dun hv any idea what its name...
ReplyDeleteThat's Masjid Nurulnasihah on Silom Soi 13. Masjid Mirasuddin is next to a wer market, on Silom Soi 22 opposite of the temple.
